As an owner-run lodge, Plantation Lodge offers a personal atmosphere with great attention to detail. Its location promises maximum safari enjoyment, situated near the entrance to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a short trip to the Tarangire and Lake Manyara national parks, and a short journey from the Serengeti.
With 16 rooms at Plantation Lodge, each offer a simple but elegant luxury. All open onto their own balconies which offer views out either to the Highlands or to the beautiful gardens that surround the property. The suites have the added benefit of a little extra room and vast baths to soak the day away.
The restaurant serves multicourse dinners complimented with good wine from the inhouse wine cellar. Fresh produce is grown in the garden. At lunchtime dishes are al fresco, and afternoon coffee and cake can be served at a garden table.
Other than the magnificent game viewing adventures available, guest can also enjoy birdwatching in the garden of Plantation Lodge, a visit to a coffee plantation, visiting an adjacent farm, or simply book an appointment with the qualified masseuse to spoil yourself.
