Ndutu Safari Lodge
Tanzania
Situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the southern Serengeti eco-system, Ndutu Safari Lodge lies under a canopy of giant acacias overlooking a soda lake, Lake Ndutu.
The lodge is a great base from which to explore the range of habitats that lie within easy reach, these include swamps, woodlands, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. The lodge is a favourite destination with professional wildlife photographers and film-makers for the past four decades, because it's simply one of the best places to watch wildlife.
Good quality home cooking is served, with breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a vegetarian alternative daily. There are no fences around Ndutu Safari Lodge and wild animals wander through at all hours of day and night. Guests are welcome to gather around the camp-fire at evening. Game drives and walking safaris can be arranged.
