Adventures Aloft Balloon Safaris Tarangire

Adventures aloft Balloon Safaris Tarangire started its operations in 2010, with an A-415 Cameron balloon with a capacity of 16 passengers, flying guest over the Tarangire National Park from a takeoff site near Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Company staff collects passengers from lodges and camps throughout the park and bring them to the launch site, flights typically take off at 06:30 but passengers are woken early so they can freshen up and have some coffee and cake. On landing in Tarangire National Park, the balloon crew set up a full champagne breakfast complete with 'Bloody Marys' next to Tarangire River.

Flights last an hour and allow guests a phenomenal birds-eye view of the landscape. A chase crew follows the balloon and equipment ensuring a safe landing.
