Directions to Adventures Aloft Balloon Safaris Serengeti

Adventures Aloft balloon Safaris is the second company licensed by the (TANAPA) Tanzania National Parks Authority to operate balloons in the countries best known park, the Serengeti National Park.

Allocated two pick up sites in the Northern Serengeti, one in the Togoro Plains area and the other at the Kogatande. The Togoro plains site caters for the guest staying in and outside Lobo Wildlife Lodge, while the Kogatande site, close to the Mara River, serves clients far North the park.

Adventures Aloft has two A415 balloon from Cameroon Balloons, with a flying capacity of 16 passengers each and is able to fly 32 passengers a day.

Balloon flights typically take off at 6.30am. Passengers arrive in time to watch the balloon inflation as the pilots torch the colored fabric to life. The flight is for one hour, each one different path and following the days prevailing winds. A Balloon flight allows passengers to float over the world's most spectacular Serengeti National Park, where you will find two of the `Giants of African Wilderness': the Elephants and the Baobab Trees, and the others. On landing, the balloon crew set up a full champagne breakfast complete with 'Bloody Marys' next to Serengeti River. Each passenger then receives a certificate from their pilot as a special memoir of their flight. A game drives en route to the lodge or the main gate which ends a special morning.
