They are able to organise school visits and big group visits. These have to be made in advance!
Wonder Workshops was established by a group of adult polio victims. With the support from local businesses and training from a local welding expert they were taught how to weld and, using recycled scrap metal, started very quickly to make all sorts of animals and boats which were sold locally.
Since it's inception the project has gone from strength to strength, employing a large number of disabled people who craft a large selection of recycled products. When visiting the workshop you will find the following handmade items:
* Recycled metal animals
* Recycled glass jewellery
* Candle stick holders
* Wooden toys
* Handmade paper products
* Fabric toys
Opening hours are from 8.30 to 18.00 on all weekdays and 10.00 to 18.00 on Saturday. So go along and enjoy shopping!
