Nduara Loliondo

Nduara Loliondo was designed to celebrate Nomadic cultures around the world: the Mongolian Gers, and Tanzania's own Maasai bomas. The outcome of this heady mix of culture, style, comfort and wilderness is the most amazing camp you will ever see.

Nomad's unique 'Yurt' camp moves twice a year within a private area of the greater Serengeti. Big skies and stunning landscapes, this is a different perspective on safari: walks, picnics, night drives and the chance to experience the life style of the Maasai who live in this wild part of Tanzania.

Piyaya, in southern Loliondo is located overlooking the open plains and thorn-scrub with a signature acacia tree, and where giraffe, zebra and impala often feed.

Ololosokwan, in northern Loliondo is located on a ridge with lovely views over a plain where wildlife is regularly seen, and from which the cowbells of the Maasai can be heard.

The camp offers beautifully furnished Meru sleeping tents and Yurt lounge & dining tents, in rich textiles and sheepskin. Located within the greater Serengeti, without the crowds, the camp moves twice a year from northern to southern Loliondo.

Within a private community area that offers the chance to drive off-road, walk, night drive and experience the Maasai way of life well offering incredible scenery, great freedom and real African wilderness.  All guests (couple or group) get their own Nomad private car and
guide as standard.

The camp sombines well with Nomad's migration camps as Nduara allows you to escape the crowds, get out of the vehicle and enjoy a different type of safari experience.
