The most exclusive private lodge in the Selous Game Reserve (without being stuffy), Kiba offers the opportunity to explore, expertly guided, on foot, by boat or by car. In between the adventures, the lodge provides a relaxed, friendly and beautiful safari home on the banks of the Rufiji for groups of friends or family to enjoy. The rooms are entirely open-fronted, and raised to take advantage of the river views, and the animals that often move around the immediate area. The rooms are entirely safe but good for expectations to be aligned.
As well as game viewing activities trips to Stiegler's Gorge and the Hot Springs can also be arranged. There is a a wide variety of wildlife, which you may have to work a little to
see, as this is a wilder part of the Selous, but guests can enjoy the excitement and anticipation of finding it and being the only people around when you do.
The lodge is only a short flight from Dar es Salaam and it easy to combine the Selous with Zanzibar/islands.
