A friendly, family oriented yacht and sailing Club where visitors are welcome. Tanga Yacht Club provides a superb, safe anchorage for yachts all year round.
Founded on 1st May 1944, Tanga Yacht Club promotes boating, yachting and sailing at Tanga and the vicinity of Tanga.
Two heavy duty moorings are available for visiting yachts with an overall length not exceeding 14 meters. The Tanga Yacht Club is the friendliest, safest and most affordable place to leave your boat if you intend to do any land travel in East Africa.
The Tanga Yacht Club hours are:
Weekdays:1000 hrs - 1400 hrs 1700 hrs - 2200 hrs
Saturdays/Sundays & Holidays: 1000 hrs - 2200 hrs
