The Rotary Club of Arusha was sponsored by The Rotary Club of Mombassa and was inaugurated by Rtn. Ken Adock and Rtn Ananat Pandya of Mombassa on 4th August 1958 with 22 members. The Club Charter was admitted to the membership of Rotary International and the charter was presented by the then District Governor Ivan Barkhuysen of Johannesburg, South Africa on 22nd May 1959 at the Safari Hotel.
Rotary Club of Arusha meets every Wednesday 1pm at Blue Ginger Restaurant, Themi Suites, Arusha. The club is made up of of business and professional leaders within the Arusha community. They provide humanitarian service among other services.
