Fahari is a social enterprise offering free training to women in Zanzibar in jewellery & hand-woven handcrafts. They specialise in jewellery, handbags, leather goods and accessories. All our products are handmade using local materials with expert workmanship - inspiration found through African, Arabian & Indian influences. By purchasing a unique product from us you will not only be receiving an exceptional, authentic Tanazanian product, you will also be supporting local women build a sustainable future. To date, 54 women on the island have received training and a core 14 now work regularly, on full-time salary and enjoy profit share options.
