St. Constantine's is an English-medium, non-denominational, International school with students and teachers from over 40 nations. The CIE International Primary Programme and Checkpoint Programme are followed from Year 1 to Year 9 after which students prepare for Cambridge IGCSE and A Level examinations. Founded in 1952,  SCIS has two campus: the Main Burka campus, a short 15 minutes from the center of Arusha, set in idyllic 40 acre forested campus surrounded by the famed Burka Coffee Plantation, and a small Town Infants Campus, in the center of Arusha city. There is on-campus housing for 100 student boarders and over 40 resident faculty members.
