Description
In these 3 days in Mikumi and Masai cultural tour you will be able to interact with Masai cultural life learn their modern way of living through cultural, tradition and taboos that still going on their tribe. After that you will visit Mikumi National Park which shares its boundary in south with Selous Game Reserve and Kilombero Game Controlled Area. During game drive you will be able to see animals like, lions, Elephant, Buffaloes, Giraffe and Zebras etc.,
Day 1. Dar es Salaam - Masai Tour
Pick up from your hotel at 7;30am and drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 hours from Dar es Salaam. Arrival for hot lunch, relax and at 4pm go for Masai till evening. Dinner and overnight at the Bastian Camp
Day 2. Mikumi Full Dar Game drive
Early morning breakfast and drive for a Full day of game viewing around Mikumi National Park which has a wide variety of bird species, large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephant and, near the water holes, lion, leopard and hippo. You may also see zebra, lion, wild dog, python, hartebeest, wildebeest, elephant, impala, warthog, eland and other antelopes. Several observation towers enable you to view the park in its entirety. Mikumi National Park is mostly Miombo woodland with its gently rolling hills. In the afternoon you will stop for lunch. Evening you will drive back to the hotel for Dinner and Overnight at Bastian Camp.
Day 3. Departure Back to Dar es salaam
After breakfast we’ll take you back to Dar es Salaam drop you at your hotel or airport. You’ve had a quick taste of the wildlife and natural beauty of Southern Tanzania and we can guarantee it will be a trip to remember.
