Peponi Beach Resort, situated some 30km's from Tanga along Tanzania's Pangani Road, derives it's name from the Swahili word meaning Paradise. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of a beautiful and unspoilt shady beach. Peponi's beach looks out onto the Pemba Channel, famous for deep sea fishing. Closer to shore you can swim and snorkel through tropical reefs with their rich and diverse abundance of marine life. Accommodation on offer are the comfortable en suite family bandas with a veranda, and the spacious, secure campsites with clean shower blocks. Facilities include a restuarant, fully licenced bar and swimming pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. Boat trips are also available by arrangement.
