Fundu Lagoon

Fundu Lagoon is on Pemba Island, which lies approximately 80 km northeast of Zanzibar Island (Unguja) and is about the same distance from the Tanzanian mainland, situated directly east of the port of Tanga. Unlike Unguja, which is flat and sandy, Pemba's terrain is hilly, fertile and heavily vegetated.
This privately owned botique hotel offers 18 tented safari style bungalows, some situated on the beach and some on the hill side, but all with splendid views of the Indian Ocean. A choice between standard, suite and superior rooms are available.
The main areas are open sided with thatch roofing. Facilities include a restaurant, three bars and an infinity swimming pool. The Fusion Spa offers a range of exclusive treatments
The Resorts fully equipped dive center takes you out to explore the abundant marine life. Fundu boasts some of the best diving in the world, and for that alone it's a destination favoured by many. Accessible only by boat, Fundu is not suitable for children under the age of 12 years.
