Description
Begin your experience with a scenic boat ride to Mnemba Island. Along the way, enjoy views of Zanzibar’s coastline and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. On arrival, watch wild dolphins as they swim, leap, and play in their natural environment. If sea conditions allow, you will enter the water to swim alongside them. An experienced crew will guide you, ensuring your safety and following ethical rules that protect the dolphins.
Continue to the protected waters of Mnemba Atoll, one of the best snorkeling destinations in East Africa. Put on your snorkeling gear and explore the reef, home to over 400 species of fish. Swim above colorful coral gardens, spot angelfish, parrotfish, and butterflyfish, and keep an eye out for sea turtles gliding past. Local guides will lead you to the top snorkeling points where visibility is highest.
After your snorkeling session, return to the boat for relaxation. Refresh yourself with cold soft drinks and enjoy a platter of seasonal tropical fruits such as pineapple, mango, and watermelon. While you rest, take in sweeping views of white sandy beaches and the crystal-clear lagoon surrounding Mnemba. If you prefer, you can choose an upgrade to extend your time on the water or add extra services.
The trip ends with a comfortable ride back to your hotel. Relax and continue with your day, carrying memories of dolphins, reefs, and the beauty of Mnemba Atoll.

Important Information
- We would like to express our concern regarding the dolphin watching experience. Unfortunately, the area is often crowded with numerous boats, and while we have no control over them, they sometimes surround the dolphins in a manner that can appear distressingly similar to hunting—something we do not support
- We sincerely apologise for any discomfort this may cause. However, as these boats are operated by other companies, we regret that we are unable to intervene directly
