Visitors can wander through the old prison ruins, learn about its colonial heritage, and encounter the island’s most famous residents—the giant Aldabra tortoises, some of which are over 100 years old. Beyond its historical significance, Prison Island offers breathtaking views of the turquoise Indian Ocean.
