Description
Swim with dolphins in Zanzibar on a half-day tour from the southernmost part of the island. See dolphins in their natural habitat, snorkel in the Mnemba Marine Conservation Area and visit a sandbank
Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar and head to the quaint Nungwi fishing village. Here, many dolphins live happily in a natural setting, and so you will be able to see them in their best possible scenario. In fact, this is the perfect place for dolphin watching in Zanzibar and is also well known all around the world.
There are bottle-nosed dolphins and humpback dolphins. The dolphins can easily be seen while you sail on the boat from the village. You may also indulge in swimming as well as snorkeling.
After swimming with the dolphins, head to the Mnemba Marine Conservation Area to snorkel on the nice coral reef which is home to a variety of colorful fish species such as Nemo, dory fish, Grouper fish, Zebra fish, Connet fish, Rainbow fish, Morena fish, and Trumpet fish.
Finally, head to the sandbank, but the sandbank appearance will depend on the level of sea tide.
