Description
Mikumi National Park is the fourth-largest national park in Tanzania and is an easily accessible national park located in the Morogoro region. This safari package includes wildlife viewing in Mikumi National Park by game drive, paired with a cultural visit.
Day 1. Zanzibar to Mikumi national park.
After pickup from the airport or your hotel in Zanzibar, travel to Mikumi National Park. The approximately seven-hour transfer includes a ferry, luxury electric train, and luxury Alphard. On arrival, have lunch at Chambo Villas Mikumi, which has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a swimming pool. After lunch, join a Maasai village tour and discover the culture of this iconic Tanzanian tribe.
Day 2 Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi national park.
After breakfast, start a full-day game drive to spot animals in Mikumi National Park. The park stretches across a large plain, giving you the opportunity to spot many animals. Mikumi National Park is home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, and many other wild animals.
Enjoy your lunch at the picnic campsites in Mikumi national park.
Our guide will identify promising spots inside the park where you can view many kinds of wild animals at close range.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Chambo Villas Mikumi.
Day 3: Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam. We will have an early breakfast and afterward travel back to Dar es Salaam by luxury electric train. On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped off at the ferry for Zanzibar, or we can drop you off at the airport or your hotel in Zanzibar.
