Description
Visit the Prison Island of Changuu, located in the middle of the three islands visible from Stone Town. See the ruins of the prison, which was never used, and the giant tortoises that are over 100 years old.
Depart from Stone Town and travel by boat to the island. Admire the prison ruins, which were built in 1893 and later used as a quarantine hospital.
