The onsite factory tour provides a rare opportunity to view the process from raw seaweed to beauty products. A socially responsible business that produces soaps and creams from seaweed, sold locally and beginning to be distributed throughout East Africa. Packages of a relaxing day at the beach and lunch packages are also on offer. Upon request, the Seaweed Center tour could easily be adapted to include other east coast activities such as tours of the Josani Forest or Butterfly Centre.
