3 Days Amboseli Budget Group Safari Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli – Into the Wild Your adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. After a short safari briefing at our office, you’ll join your group and set off south toward the legendary plains of Amboseli National Park. The journey offers changing landscapes as the city fades into open countryside. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Amboseli — a park celebrated for its vast savannahs and the breathtaking presence of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the horizon. After entering the park, enjoy your first glimpses of wildlife en route to Nyati Safari Camp. Settle into your budget tented camp, enjoy dinner, and relax under the African night sky. Accommodation: Nyati Safari Camp (Budget Camping) Meals: Lunch & Dinner (Drinking water included) Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Elephant Country Wake up to the sounds of the wild and enjoy breakfast at camp before heading out for a full day of exploration. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen roaming gracefully against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Early morning hours offer the clearest views of the mountain before clouds gather around its summit. Spend the day discovering the park’s diverse habitats — from open plains to swampy wetlands fed by underground springs. Keep an eye out for: Elephants, often seen up close Wildebeests and zebras grazing in the plains Giraffes stretching across the acacia trees Lions, hyenas, and other predators You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, allowing you to maximize your wildlife viewing experience before returning to Nyati Safari Camp in the late afternoon.
