Description
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park Your safari begins with morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your professional driver-guide and travel to Tarangire National Park, a wildlife-rich destination known for its enormous elephant population and impressive baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and antelopes. Stop at a suitable picnic area for lunch before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing. After the game drive, travel to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife and is one of the best places in Tanzania to search for the Big Five. During the game drive, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and, with some luck, the rare black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, return to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation. Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, located beneath the dramatic cliffs of the Great Rift Valley. Explore the park’s groundwater forest, open grasslands, and lakeshore areas during your final game drive. Look for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, baboons, blue monkeys, hippos, and a wide variety of birds. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are not guaranteed. After lunch and the afternoon game drive, return to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location.Includes
