Your first stop is the charming Chagga village of Materuni, located in the lush foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, enjoy an immersive guided coffee experience where you will learn the entire process—from harvesting the beans to roasting, grinding, and finally tasting your own freshly prepared cup of coffee.
Continue with a short and refreshing hike to the spectacular Materuni Waterfalls, cascading over 90 meters into a natural pool surrounded by tropical forest—an ideal spot to relax and take in the beauty of the area.
After enjoying a local lunch, return to your hotel. Alternatively, for guests who select tour options that include hot springs, the adventure continues to Chemka Hot Springs (also known as Kikuletwa Hot Springs). This hidden oasis features crystal-clear turquoise waters, perfect for swimming and unwinding beneath shaded fig trees.
