Important Information

  • This is a shared group safari, so pick-up starts very early, typically between 4:45 AM and 5:00 AM, as guests are collected from different hotels before departing from Arusha. The drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area takes approximately 3–4 hours. Wear warm clothing, as mornings can be cold, especially on the crater rim. Bring your passport or a copy, sunscreen, a hat, a camera, and comfortable clothing. Lunch and bottled drinking water are provided. Wildlife sightings are excellent but cannot be guaranteed, as animals roam freely in their natural habitat. Expect to return to Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening, depending on road and wildlife conditions.
