Description
Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Travel by private vehicle to Arusha National Park, where your guide will assist with registration and explain the day’s program. Meet your professional cycling guide and receive a detailed safety briefing before the ride begins. Each participant will be provided with a suitable bicycle and safety helmet based on their height, age, and cycling ability. The guide will check that the bicycles are properly adjusted and ensure that everyone feels comfortable before departure. Begin cycling along approved dirt roads and natural tracks through the park’s scenic landscapes. The route is selected according to the family’s experience, fitness level, weather conditions, and current wildlife activity. The pace remains relaxed, with regular stops for drinking water, rest, photography, and wildlife observation. As you cycle, enjoy views of Mount Meru and explore a mixture of open grasslands, woodland, forest edges, and beautiful natural surroundings. Look for giraffes, zebras, warthogs, buffaloes, bushbucks, antelopes, baboons, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and a variety of colorful bird species. Your guide will share information about the animals, plants, landscapes, and conservation of Arusha National Park. Wildlife sightings depend on natural movement and cannot be guaranteed, but cycling offers a peaceful and exciting way to experience the environment away from the noise of a traditional safari vehicle. The guide will maintain a safe distance from wildlife and may change or shorten the route depending on animal activity, rain, trail conditions, or the energy level of the family. Families with younger or less experienced riders may request a support vehicle in advance, allowing participants to rest or complete part of the experience by vehicle. During the tour, stop at a designated picnic area to enjoy a packed lunch and drinking water. Take time to relax, enjoy the surrounding scenery, and share the day’s experiences together. After lunch, continue with a shorter cycling section or enjoy a gentle wildlife drive, depending on the selected package and the family’s energy level. The program remains flexible to ensure that the experience is comfortable and enjoyable for all participants. At the end of the activity, return the bicycles and meet your driver for the journey back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel, accommodation, or another agreed location within the city.Includes
