Description

Begin your adventure with a transfer from Moshi to Kilimanjaro National Park. Complete park registration before beginning your trek through lush montane rainforest. Keep an eye out for blue monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and colorful birdlife. Reach Mandara Hut in the afternoon for dinner and overnight. On the second day, leave the rainforest behind and enter open heath and moorland. Giant heathers, lobelias, and spectacular views of Mawenzi Peak accompany today's gradual climb. Arrive at Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight. On the third day, cross the alpine desert known as the Saddle, a vast high-altitude landscape between Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks. Reach Kibo Hut in the afternoon, enjoy an early dinner, and rest before your midnight summit attempt. Shortly after midnight, begin the challenging summit ascent. Pass Gilman's Point before continuing along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your achievement before descending back to Kibo Hut for a short rest, then continue to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight. On the final day, descend through moorland and lush rainforest to Marangu Gate where successful climbers receive their Kilimanjaro certificates. Meet your driver for the return transfer to your hotel in Moshi.

Itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, park regulations and the group's pace. Final pricing and availability will be confirmed in your personalised quotation.
