Your adventure begins early in the morning when you depart from Dar es Salaam by train at 6:00 AM heading to Morogoro. Enjoy the comfortable and scenic journey as you pass through beautiful landscapes on your way to the gateway of Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival in Morogoro around 9:00 AM, your professional safari driver-guide will meet you at the train station and transfer you to Mikumi National Park in a safari vehicle. Once inside the park, you will start an exciting game drive, exploring the vast savannah that is home to a variety of wildlife. Mikumi is known for its rich wildlife and open plains similar to the Serengeti. During your game drive, you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, antelopes, and many different bird species. Around midday, you will enjoy a delicious lunch included in the tour, giving you time to relax before continuing with more wildlife viewing in the park. After the safari experience, you will return to Morogoro train station to catch the 3:30 PM train back to Dar es Salaam.
