Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Arusha. Travel by private vehicle to the horse-riding location, where you will meet your professional riding guide. After registration, receive a detailed safety briefing and basic instructions on mounting, controlling, and communicating with your horse. You will then be matched with a well-trained horse based on your height, approximate weight, confidence, and riding experience. Begin your guided horseback safari along peaceful countryside trails surrounded by open grasslands, local farmland, wooded areas, and beautiful rural scenery. Enjoy views of Mount Meru when the weather is clear while observing colorful birds and the daily activities of nearby farming communities. Depending on the route, season, and trail conditions, you may also have opportunities to observe wildlife from horseback. Traveling by horse provides a quiet and immersive way to explore the landscape away from busy roads. Your guide will adjust the pace according to the group’s ability and will be available to assist throughout the ride.
