Description

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Arusha Depart from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast and travel to Tarangire National Park. After entering the park, begin your game drive through landscapes characterized by giant baobab trees, open savannah, acacia woodland, and the Tarangire River. Keep watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and predators such as lions and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Your professional safari guide will help you locate wildlife and explain the fascinating ecosystem of Tarangire. In the late afternoon, leave the park and drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2: Arusha – Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Experience – Moshi After breakfast, drive toward Moshi and continue to Materuni Village on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Meet your local guide and begin a scenic walk through coffee plantations, banana farms, and beautiful green countryside before arriving at Materuni Waterfalls. Enjoy time near the impressive waterfall, take photographs, and appreciate the peaceful mountain environment. After the waterfall visit, return to the village for a traditional coffee experience. Learn how coffee beans are grown, harvested, dried, roasted, ground, and prepared using traditional methods. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Tanzanian coffee and a local lunch before transferring to Moshi for your overnight stay. Day 3: Moshi – Chemka Hot Springs – Arusha After breakfast, depart Moshi and travel to Chemka Hot Springs, one of northern Tanzania's most beautiful natural swimming locations. The spring features clear turquoise water surrounded by fig trees and tropical vegetation, creating a relaxing setting after your safari and waterfall adventure. Spend several hours swimming, relaxing, taking photographs, or simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings. After lunch, begin your return journey to Arusha. On arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location, marking the end of your 3-day Wildlife, Waterfalls & Tanzania Nature Escape.

Important Information

• This is a 3-day private experience starting and ending in Arusha. Pickup is available from hotels and selected locations in Arusha. The itinerary includes Tarangire National Park, Materuni Waterfalls, a local coffee experience, and Chemka/Kikuletwa Hot Springs. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the Materuni Waterfalls hike. Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and insect repellent. The waterfall trail can be slippery, especially during or after rainfall. Wildlife sightings are natural and cannot be guaranteed. The order of activities may change depending on weather, road conditions, or operational requirements. Please inform the operator in advance about dietary requirements or food allergies. Children should be supervised closely during the waterfall hike and at the hot springs. Carry a valid passport or identification where required. Tips for guides and local staff are optional and not included in the tour price.
