Embark on an exciting luxury speedboat island hopping excursion on the west of Zanzibar. Discover the historical Prison Island, relax and take in breathtaking views of the picturesque Nakupenda Sandbank.
Your experience begins at Verde Marina, Stone Town, where you will meet your certified guide for a brief introduction to the day’s itinerary. You will then proceed to the jetty, board your luxury speedboat, and set off towards Prison Island. Enjoy the thrill of the ride as you glide effortlessly over the turquoise waters, taking in breathtaking views of the open sea as you head towards your first destination: Prison Island.
Explore the ancient prison ruins which were erected by the British colony of Zanzibar. Then, visit the Aldabra tortoise sanctuary – one of the largest tortoises in the world, weighing up to 200 kilos, also known to be one of the longest-living creatures in the world.
Saving the best for last, head to Nakupenda Sandbank where you will enjoy a delicious beach barbeque taking in the magnificent views of the sandbank. After lunch, you can enjoy some relaxation time on the beach - have the leisure to relax soak up the sun, swim and walk around the beautiful sandbank.
