You will meet your professional safari guide and set off in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle with a roof pop-up. As you drive toward Tarangire National Park, the scenery gradually changes from town life to wide open plains dotted with traditional Maasai villages.
Upon entering Tarangire, you will immediately notice the park’s iconic ancient baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts large numbers of wildlife. During your game drive, you will encounter vast herds of elephants, often seen roaming in family groups, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators such as lions and leopards resting in the shade or stalking prey. Your guide will share fascinating insights about animal behavior and the ecosystem as you explore the park.
Midday, you will stop at a scenic picnic site to enjoy lunch surrounded by nature. In the late afternoon, you will exit the park and drive to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay under the African sky.
On Day Two, after an early breakfast, you will travel toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you ascend the crater rim, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and one of Africa’s best wildlife viewing areas.
Inside the crater, you will experience an incredible concentration of animals in a relatively small area. Expect to see lions, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeest, as well as the rare black rhinoceros. Birdlife is abundant, including flamingos around the soda lake and numerous raptors overhead.
After an unforgettable game drive and picnic lunch on the crater floor, you will ascend the rim and begin your return journey to Arusha.
