Description

Begin your day with a scenic drive to Matemwe Beach, on Zanzibar’s northeast coast. Upon arrival, board a traditional wooden dhow or modern speedboat and set sail for Mnemba Atoll, a private island surrounded by some of the clearest waters in East Africa. As you approach the atoll, the ocean shifts into every shade of turquoise and blue imaginable. Your guide will provide snorkeling gear and safety instructions before leading you into the protected marine reserve. Snorkel among vibrant coral gardens teeming with tropical fish. Spot clownfish, parrotfish, and sometimes even sea turtles or dolphins. Enjoy the tranquility of floating above untouched reefs. Fresh fruits, soft drinks, and water are served onboard. After snorkeling, you may stop at a nearby sandbank — a perfect photo opportunity surrounded by endless sea and sky. Relax, sunbathe, or simply soak in the peaceful rhythm of the Indian Ocean. You’ll be matched with a horse suited to your experience level (beginner to advanced). After a short safety briefing, you’ll mount up and begin your coastal ride. Ride along the white-sand beaches with the turquoise sea beside you. Pass by palm groves, fishing villages, and scenic coastal trails. Option for a swim ride (depending on tide and experience).
