Explore Lake Ndutu during the calving season, one of the highlights of the Great Migration. During this time herds of wildebeest and zebras are attracted to the Lake Ndutu area by the seasonal rains, the best place for game viewing. Enjoy a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, worlds largest intact volcanic caldera, also referred to as the 8th World Wonder. The Ngorongoro Crater offers you the best chance to spot the Big 5! Fly early morning from Zanzibar to Lake Ndutu. Enjoy a full day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater and an authentic bush lunch during the break-time. Spend the night in our Africa Safari South Serengeti accommodation and fly back to Zanzibar the following day after enjoying a game drive in the plains of Southern Serengeti. You will be picked up early in the morning at the hotel you are staying for a transfer to the airport, where you will take a flight from Zanzibar to Lake Ndutu. Lake Ndutu is located in the heart of the South of Serengeti and is famous for its abundance of wildlife during migration and calving seasons. A wildlife spectacle you do not want to miss out on! Your safari adventure starts here. Enjoy a full day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, the best place for a good chance in spotting the Big 5! Experience an authentic bush lunch in the Ngorongoro Crater. After lunch you will continue with the game drive before you will be driven back to our Africa Safari South Serengeti accommodation, where you will spend the night. The following day you will enjoy a full day game drive in the plains of Southern Serengeti, where you will witness the yearly Great Migration. Late afternoon you will be brought to the airstrip of Lake Ndutu, where you will depart by airplane back to Zanzibar. When arriving in Zanzibar you will be picked up and brought back to your hotel.
