Come on this short hike up and around a volcanic crater just outside Arusha for panoramic views of the city and the lush Tanzanian countryside. This hike can be done at any time but sunset is best!

Description

We begin our tour by picking you up at your accommodation (if central in Arusha) or we will arrange to meet at clock-tower. Further pick-ups can be arranged at a small added cost. We'll drive you direct to Kilimamoto, a small volcanic crater just outside of Arusha. From here we'll hike up the short steep path to the top of the crater, for panoramic views of the surrounding Tanzanian countryside and Arusha, and an impressive view of the massive crater in the centre. Marvel at the fact there is a basic football pitch at the centre, deep down in the crater, where if you're lucky you'll see some youth playing! We then have time to take a leisurely walk around the edge of the crater, and even sit and relax for some time on the mountain top. Enjoy the views as the colours slowly change at sunset, then as it gets dark we'll head back down the mountain to the car, and drop you back in Arusha in time for dinner.
