Description

Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha via Serval Wildlife Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, complete immigration and customs procedures. Your professional guide and driver will be waiting to welcome you. Begin your journey with a visit to Serval Wildlife, a unique experience where you’ll have the rare opportunity to interact closely with wildlife—including the chance to gently pet lions under supervision. Following this unforgettable encounter, continue the scenic drive to Arusha Town (approx. 1 hour). If the weather is clear, keep an eye out for Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, which often makes a stunning appearance on the horizon. Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, embark on a thrilling game drive through this diverse landscape. Famous for its vast herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire is Tanzania’s sixth-largest national park and a vital wildlife corridor within the Great Rift Valley. Later in the day, travel to Karatu, where you'll check in and enjoy a restful evening. Day 3: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Central Serengeti After breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater—an ancient caldera formed over 250,000 years ago and now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, it is often called the 'Eden of Africa.' Note: time inside the crater is limited to 6 hours, so plan your exploration wisely. In the afternoon, continue to the Central Serengeti for check-in at your luxury tented camp. Day 4: Full-Day Safari in Central Serengeti After breakfast, enjoy a full-day safari in the vast Central Serengeti, where you’ll track the famous Big Five and possibly witness part of the Great Migration. This region is a key segment of the migration route, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles follow the scent of fresh grazing, often trailed by predators. This is nature at its most raw and awe-inspiring. Day 5: Another Day on Safari – Central Serengeti Spend a second full day exploring the Central Serengeti’s rich ecosystem. Every game drive offers new surprises—be it a pride of lions basking in the sun, elephants at a watering hole, or a cheetah stalking prey. With some luck, you may catch another glimpse of the Migration in Motion, a true bucket-list experience. Day 6: Serengeti – Cultural Visit with Hadzabe Tribe – Departure After breakfast, begin your return journey with a special stop to meet the Hadzabe Tribe, one of the last true hunter-gatherer communities in Africa. Discover their ancient traditions, survival skills, and unique language—a rare and enriching cultural encounter. Continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight, concluding your extraordinary Tanzanian adventure.
