Start your adventure at Prison Island, just a short boat ride from Stone Town. Visit the giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 150 years old, and learn about the island’s colonial past as a quarantine station. Enjoy some time for snorkeling in the clear waters around the island. Next, head to Salaam Cave in Kizimkazi. Swim with rescued sea turtles, cared for in an eco-conservation project. The cave is a sacred place for locals, offering a peaceful and unique swimming experience. After your swim, visit The Rock Restaurant, one of Zanzibar’s most famous dining spots. Located on a rock in the middle of the Indian Ocean, it offers a stunning view and fresh seafood dishes (reservation is needed).
