Description

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 5:00 AM. Head to the SGR station for your train to the Morogoro region, departing at 6:00 AM and arriving at 7:50 AM. Upon arrival, meet your driver-guide and enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant. Next, drive to Mikumi National Park for a game drive until lunchtime. After lunch, take a short rest before heading out again for a game drive until sunset. Spend the night in accommodation inside the park. Accommodation: Mikumi NP Cottage (Inside the Park) Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 2: Mikumi National Park to Ruaha National Park Wake up for an early morning game drive until 8:00 AM, then return to the cottage for breakfast. After breakfast, start your journey to Ruaha National Park with a stopover in Iringa Town for a hot lunch. Arrive in Ruaha for afternoon game drives until sunset, searching for hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, reedbucks, and buffalos. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, and jackals. Spot many birds, including Eurasian migrants that visit the park twice a year. In the late afternoon, drive to the Banda for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation: Ruaha NP Cottage (Inside the Park) Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park Wake up for an early morning game drive, then return to the cottage for breakfast. After breakfast, continue with a full-day game drive to explore the park's beauty, filled with rocky kopjes and ancient baobab trees. In the late evening, return to the cottage for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation: Ruaha NP Cottage (Inside the park) Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Day 4: Another Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park Enjoy another full-day game drive in Ruaha National Park. Start with an early morning game drive, followed by a game drive after breakfast until lunchtime. After lunch, continue with a game drive en route to the exit gate around 4:00 PM. Today, shift to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge, a midrange accommodation located outside the park with beautiful views from the hill. Accommodation: Ruaha Hilltop Lodge (outside the park) Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 5: Ruaha National Park to Morogoro for Electric Train to Dar es Salaam Have an early breakfast at 6:30 AM. At 7:00 AM, drive to Morogoro town to catch a train to Dar es Salaam, departing at 4:00 PM and arriving around 5:50 PM. On arrival in Dar es Salaam, meet your driver, who will transfer you to your hotel or the airport for a night flight. Accommodation: Not included (End of Safari) Meals: Breakfast & Lunch.
