Description

Day 1: Depart to Lake Manyara National Park for a Full-Day Game Drive Depart to Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 2-3 hours). The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and high concentration of baboons. Explore its diverse habitats, including a soda lake and woodlands, which support a variety of wildlife. The park also boasts a remarkable number of bird species, including pink flamingos, attracted by the lake’s alkaline water. Transfer back to the lodge/camp for the overnight. Day 2: Depart to Ngorongoro Crater for a Game Drive & Transfer to Arusha Depart to Ngorongoro Crater (approx. 1 hour). The crater stands out due to its unique combination of geological features and wildlife. It’s the world’s largest unfilled, intact volcanic caldera, known for having a high concentration of wild animals, including the ‘Big Five’ (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes) and many other species. The crater floor is about 20 km in diameter and a depth of 600 meters, hosting over 30,000 animals. Depart back to Arusha (approx. 3-4 hours drive), arriving in the early evening.
