Description

The guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will make the short drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and giraffe. It's possible that you will catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching and relaxing in the trees above. After lunch in the park, after a full day game drive, we expect to be back in Arusha around 6:00 pm although we can be flexible if needed (i.e. flight to catch). Like wise you will be transferred to curio shops where you can grab some souvenirs to take back home with you. After long day game drive you will head to the camp for a rest. On this second day you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals when they are more active and also to have a fantastic sun rise in front of you. The sunrise in the African Savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. You will then travel to Ngorongoro Crater, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingos, a forest and open plains. Large bull elephants that reside here have V large tusks, due to the rich minerals content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. After your Tour and game drive, you will exit the park and drive to Arusha back to your Hotel.
