Description

Embark on a 12-day safari and beach adventure in Tanzania. Explore the national parks of Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the Serengeti. Then, relax on the beaches of Zanzibar and Nungwi. Day 1: Arusha Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will meet a Legacy Destinations representative whom will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Later on the day, a member from our office team will meet you at the hotel and provide the tour briefing and make sure everything is set for your safari to start. Accommodation: Africa Safari Arusha Day 2: Tarangire National Park After breakfast, your personal Legacy Destinations safari guide will pick you up and drive you to Tarangire National Park. Once you reach Tarangire, you may opt to start your experience with a guided walk and then proceed with a game drive. Tarngire is famous for its giant ancient baobab trees, large elephant herds and bird species along with other wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch and an optional night game drive in Tarangire. Accommodation: Tarangire Tortilis Camp Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park Enjoy your breakfast in Tarangire before driving to Lake Manyara National Park. You can stap your adventure in Lake Manyara National Park with a treetop walk followed by a game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch before heading to your lodge later in the day for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation: Lake Manyara Tortilis Camp Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up at the lodge and start your drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro highlands offering scenic landscape views, local life and wildlife encounters along the way. Embark on guided game drives and enjoy a picnic lunch. Enjoy optional activities like the Balloon safari and stay in lodges in the middle of the Serengeti. Accommodation: Embalakai Serengeti Camp Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast, transfer to Ngorongoro Crater. Embark on a guided game drive in the ancient caldera field with an abundance of wildlife including the endangered Black Rhinos and enjoy a picnic lunch before heading to your hotel. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp Day 7-8: Zanzibar Island - Stone Town After breakfast, transfer to the airport near the lodge and fly to Zanzibar. Transfer to your hotel and spend your time in Stone Town to learn about this historic city, engage in the night life and more. Accommodation: Shaba Boutique Hotel Day 9-11: Nungwi Enjoy your breakfast before transferring to Nungwi, a place filled with pristine beaches and history. Day 12: Zanzibar Airport After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your departure.
