Some 350 bird species have been recorded in the Selous Game Reserve. These are typical of miombo wood lands, and the birdlife supported by Rufiji swamp lands is of particular interest. Dinner and over night at Mloka SafariLodge Day2:GameViewing in Selous Game Reserve You will have 2fullday in the Selous Game Reserve. Exploration of the Reserve by 4wheel drive vehicle with your picnic lunch. The Selous Game Reserve is the largest in Africa, covering 54,600square kilometer. The reserve gets its name from the hunter and explorer Frederick Courtney Selous. He was killed here during World War1. Selous is famous for elephants. Other species commonly seen are lions, wilddogs, buffaloes, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras and greater kudus. It was originally set as ideas a hunting area where animals are abundant but more shy then the Northern Parks. The journey to Mikumi is the most amazing and truly wild and untouched areas of Tanzania. The drive will take you up into the Uluguru Mountains across rivers and past small local villages and farms. Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian Mikumi. Day4:Game Drive in Mikumi National Park After breakfast, full day game drive of the park with picnic lunch With3,230 square kilometers coverage Mikumi National Park is well-known park in Tanzania. The park is well-known for its population of elephants, giraffe’s buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope. Predators include tree-climbing lions (which are in large number), leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded here including Eurasian migrants such as red billed oxpecker, marabou stork and lilac breasted roller. Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian Mikumi. Day5:Game Drive and Masai Cultural Tour. After breakfast, We will go for A half day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Lunch at the Picnic site in Mikumi. After lunch we will proceed outside the park to the Masai Village which is near by the National spark for Cultural activities and later on return back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian Day6: Mikumi National Park–DaresSalaam
