Embark on a day trip to Mikumi National Park from Dar es Salaam. Be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and head to the train station to take the 6:00 AM Express train to Morogoro SGR train Station. Arrive in Morogoro town at 7:37 AM and be picked up to start your drive to Mikumi National Park with a breakfast stop in Morogoro town. When you arrive in Mikumi, check in and start game drives with a lunch break taken within the park. In Mikumi, expect to see animals such as lions, buffalos, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, impalas, warthogs, elephants, hippos, and more than 300 bird species. After game drives, start driving back to Morogoro town at around 4:00 PM to be able to catch the 7:18 PM train to Dar Es Salaam.
