Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park - Afternoon Game Drive Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam by a professional safari guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle. Enjoy a scenic drive through local villages and landscapes towards Mikumi National Park. A packed lunch will be provided en route to save time. Upon arrival at Mikumi National Park, complete the necessary park entry formalities. Your guide will then take you to the designated campsite, either inside the park for a truly immersive experience or just outside for more facilities. Assist with setting up camp or settle into pre-erected tents, depending on the tour operator. Embark on your first exciting game drive in Mikumi National Park. This park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, impalas, kudus, hartebeests, leopards, wild dogs, and hyenas.
