Description

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, passing Maasai villages, open plains, and the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Upon arrival, embark on a thrilling game drive through the park, home to the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania. During the dry season (June–October), witness one of the highest concentrations of game in East Africa as animals gather around the Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, elands, and buffalos. Spot rare species like the fringed-eared oryx and greater kudu. With over 500 bird species, the park is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Marvel at the ancient baobab trees and enjoy the lush landscapes during the June to October (dry season): Peak wildlife viewing; animals gather at the river, grass is short, and visibility is excellent during November to May (green season): Fewer crowds, lush landscapes, excellent birdwatching, and newborn wildlife sightings. Lunch at the picnic site located inside the Park. After the lunch you will continue with the afternoon and the noon game drive. Late evening you will exit the Park and drive back where our safari guide he will drop off to the location you have shared to us
