Description

The tour start at your choosen pick up location at Moshi or Arusha. Meet the driver and start your best day close to nature. Materuni Waterfalls magical experience Materuni Village is located 15 km north of Moshi, it is the last village before Kilimanjaro National Park, about 95 km from Africa Safari Arusha. Before you reach the village, you will drive slowly past the banana farms and local rural villages. The people are very warm and welcoming, inviting you to their local Materuni home. An English-speaking guide will take you for a walk around the village. After a short briefing, he will guide you on a 40-minute hike to the waterfalls. This magical green environment with tropical trees will lead to the impressive 80 meters high waterfall. Here you can take some time to relax and swim, so please bring your swimsuit. Enjoy your prepackaged lunch prepared by our chefs from Africa Safari Arusha. The traditional Coffee farm unique tour After the hike to the Materuni Waterfall, you will visit a traditional coffee farm where they will teach you everything you need to know about the process of making coffee. Afterwards, you even get the chance to taste the delicious locally brewed coffee. The Chemka Hotsprings Experience the soothing warmth of Kilimanjaro’s geothermal waters at the Chemka Hot Springs. When you arrive, take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear, mineral-rich springs. The pond is deep, with some areas reaching up to 10 meters, but the water is so clear that you can easily see the bottom at all times. Relax on the peaceful shore, enjoy a delicious picnic, and soak up the sun. If you wish, a barbecue can be prepared for you while you swim, adding a perfect touch to your day. While at the springs, you might also spot playful baboons and other local monkeys. Arusha City Tour : explore the town with flexible starting time This tour can be done any day during the daytime and will take you inside the workings of the busy little town of Arusha. Start the tour from your preferred pick up location in Arusha where our driver will pick you up( when booking the option with hotel transfer). Visit The Clock Tower, Museums, The Market Take your time to discover the beauty of Arusha city from the Clock tower (the halfway point between Cairo in Egypt to Johannesburg in South Africa) to the Arusha Declaration Monument and Museum, to the National Natural History Museum, and the Central Market to learn different African spices, vegetables, and fruits.
