4-Day Mid-Range Tanzania Safari Itinerary Destinations: Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park Accommodation: Ikumbi Lodge & Sound of Silence Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast. Drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife. Overnight: Ikumbi Lodge (Mid-range, full board). Day 2: Tarangire → Ngorongoro Crater → Serengeti Early breakfast, then drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor. Spot black rhinos, hippos, lions, elephants, and flamingos. Picnic lunch inside the crater. In the afternoon, proceed to Serengeti National Park, enjoying a game drive en route. Overnight: Sound of Silence Camp (Mid-range luxury tented camp, full board). Day 3: Full Day Serengeti National Park Early morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti. Explore the endless plains and search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and more. Overnight: Sound of Silence Camp (Full board). Day 4: Serengeti → Arusha Early morning game drive in Serengeti for sunrise wildlife viewing. After brunch, drive back to Arusha with optional stop at a Maasai village or souvenir shop (time permitting). Drop-off in Arusha or at the airport for your onward flight.
