Description

Embark on an 8-day safari in Tanzania. Visit Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. Experience the migration at Ndutu and take part in a cultural experience at the homestead of a member of the Iraqw tribe. Day 1: After breakfast and a short safari briefing, you will be taken to Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Farmhouse. Day 2: Begin the day with a drive via the Ngorongoro highlands to the Southern Serengeti, with a game drive and picnic lunch en route. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Lake Masek Tented Camp. Day 3 & 4: Continue to experience the migration at Ndutu. Enjoy picnic lunches and dinner and overnight stays at Lake Masek Tented Camp. Day 5: Following breakfast and a morning game drive, travel by way of Olduvai Gorge to the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Day 6: Following an early breakfast, descend into the crater for a full-day game drive with picnic lunches. Ascend from the crater for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge. Day 7: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast prior to departing the lodge. Drive to Karatu where you will take part in a cultural experience at the homestead of a member of the Iraqw tribe. Lunch and a walk around their plantation at Gibbs Farm prior to proceeding to Simangori Maasai boma to experience traditional Maasai activities before and after dinner. Overnight at the boma. Day 8: Following breakfast and morning Maasai activities at the boma, drive back to Arusha where you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight.
