Description

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where your driver-guide will meet you. Transfer to Arusha, known as the safari capital of Tanzania. Depending on arrival time, you may explore the town or relax at your hotel. Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park (Central) After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands and enter Serengeti National Park, the land of endless plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way and arrive in Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley) in time for an afternoon game drive. This area is famous for big cats, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Day 3: Serengeti Central – Northern Serengeti (Mara River Area) Begin with a morning game drive in Central Serengeti before heading north to the Mara River area. Along the way, you’ll see wildebeest herds moving toward the river. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive around the riverbanks. Day 4: Northern Serengeti – Full Day Game Drive Spend the full day in the Northern Serengeti, following the migration herds. With luck, you’ll witness the river crossing, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras plunge into crocodile-filled waters. Lions and hyenas also lurk nearby, making this one of the most dramatic wildlife experiences in Africa. Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area Enjoy an early game drive in the north before driving south through the Serengeti plains. Picnic lunch on the way and continue into Ngorongoro Conservation Area, reaching the crater rim in the evening. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha After an early breakfast, descend 600m into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is home to over 25,000 animals, including black rhinos, elephants, lions, hippos, and flamingos. After a half-day crater tour with picnic lunch, return to Arusha for overnight. Day 7: Departure Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may explore Arusha town, visit a local market, or take a day trip (optional, extra cost). Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure.
