Description

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to the Tarangire National Park. Discover the true enormity of the deserted termite mounds and ancient baobab trees. The wildlife that roams the scenic landscape of the Tarangire includes lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongoose, buffaloes, and baboons. Spend the first night at the Karatu-tented Lodge. Enjoy a tantalizing dinner in the evening. Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park, South Depart for the Serengeti National Park after breakfast. Pass via the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. During lunchtime, your driver will set and prepare the table for a full meal lunch. After lunch, proceed with an evening game drive. Arrive at the Ndutu Katikati Camp for dinner and overnight. Day 3: Serengeti South - Ndutu Area After breakfast, have a full game drive in Southern Serengeti. The Serengeti, Tanzania's oldest and most well-known national park, is recognized for its yearly migration, which sees over 300,000 Thomson's gazelle and over 200,000 zebras swarm the open plains in search of new grazing. Large herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and countless numbers of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant's gazelles can all be seen there. In the evening, transfer to the Ndutu Katikati Camp for dinner and overnight. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Wake up early and start the day with a beautiful sunrise game drive heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey to the park is an adventure in itself, as you traverse winding roads through breathtaking scenery. A scarce amount safari destination produces the same experience as the Ngorongoro Crater – the game viewing is simply effortless. Most animals remain within the crater due to its high walls. This is the perfect location to view every member of ‘The Big 5’ in one day. Have a wonderful picnic lunch inside the crater. The unfilled caldera is also home to hyenas, hippos, zebra, wildebeest, and an impressive variety of water birds. Your guide will enlighten you by sharing facts about the animals, and vegetation and locating hidden animals. In the evening, proceed to Karatu Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha In the morning after breakfast, visit Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park provides a picturesque, varying scenery. Have a picnic lunch in the beautiful park. Assorted habitats including rainforests, Soda Lake, and the savannah support the highly diverse ecosystem. With over four hundred bird species, some of which are migratory, the reserve is a birdwatcher’s delight. Lake Manyara houses the legendary tree-climbing lions as well as buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. Your trip will come to an end and you will be transferred to the Airport for your departure flight.
