Day 1: Transfer from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi by Train Begin your journey with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the SGR train station. Board the train to Morogoro, enjoying scenic views of Tanzania’s countryside along the way. Upon arrival, meet your safari driver-guide and continue by road to Mikumi. Arrive in the evening and check in at Chambo Villa, where you’ll enjoy dinner and rest in preparation for the next day’s adventure. Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park After an early breakfast, head into Mikumi National Park for a full-day game drive. Explore the wide open plains and acacia woodlands, home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and hippos. Enjoy your packed lunch at a scenic picnic site inside the park while surrounded by nature and wildlife. Continue exploring different areas of the park in the afternoon before returning to Chambo Villa in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3: Chizua Waterfall & Snake Park – Return to Dar es Salaam After breakfast, set out for a refreshing adventure to the Chizua Waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery and scenic mountain views. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, take memorable photos, and relax by the cascading waters.
